How did we begin our Journey of Felt Manufacturer and Exporter?

My Inspiration:

We have been one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of felt handicrafts from Nepal since 2006 AD.  Sonu KC, managing director (MD) of Kriti Craft Pvt. Ltd grew up in “Orang”, a rural district in Dolakha, Nepal. Her dad was a shepherd, and they had many sheep. They used to make hand-knitted rugs from sheep wool. She watched him work when she was young.

She moved to the capital for studies and work and she had a full-time job in the busy city. But one day, she decided to quit. She wanted more time for herself and her family. She always loved crafting, like her father, and dreamed of making it her career. So, she started to learn about felting. She joined local women who were making felt items, reading books, watching videos, and practicing a lot. Her husband, Mr. Shakti Singh, CEO of Kriti Craft Pvt. Ltd and she went to arts and crafts events on weekends.

How did it start?

She found out she was good at felting. In 2006, She started her own business. She has a small team of women who need help. She trains them for free, so they can work and earn money. This helps them support their children and improve their lives. Their goal was to make our customers happy and help these women financially. Buying from our store supports children’s education and helps Nepalese housewives.

Now, We manufacture all kinds of felt products like felt ball rugs, felt toys, felt hats, felt Christmas accessories, felt pet products, felt shoes, felt home decor, felt mats and rugs, etc. accepting custom designs per the customer’s requirement. We use 100% pure wools of 28 microns from New Zealand which are non-toxic, non-allergic, and AZO-free to manufacture our product. We manufacture high-quality products in large volumes by accepting custom designs in custom color combinations.

How did we begin our Journey of Felt Manufacturer and Exporter?

My Inspiration:

We have been one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of felt handicrafts from Nepal since 2006 AD.  Sonu KC, managing director (MD) of Kriti Craft Pvt. Ltd grew up in “Orang”, a rural district in Dolakha, Nepal. Her dad was a shepherd, and they had many sheep. They used to make hand-knitted rugs from sheep wool. She watched him work when she was young.

She moved to the capital for studies and work and she had a full-time job in the busy city. But one day, she decided to quit. She wanted more time for herself and her family. She always loved crafting, like her father, and dreamed of making it her career. So, she started to learn about felting. She joined local women who were making felt items, read books, watched videos, and practiced a lot. Her husband, Mr. Shakti Singh, CEO of Kriti Craft Pvt. Ltd and she went to arts and crafts events on weekends.

How did it start?

She found out she was good at felting. In 2006, She started her own business. She has a small team of women who need help. She trains them for free, so they can work and earn money. This helps them support their children and improve their lives. Their goal was to make our customers happy and help these women financially. Buying from our store supports children’s education and helps Nepalese housewives.

Now, We manufacture all kinds of felt products like felt ball rugs, felt toys, felt hats, felt Christmas accessories, felt pet products, felt shoes, felt home decor, felt mats and rugs, etc. accepting custom designs as per the customer requirement. We use 100% pure wools of 28 microns from New Zealand which are non-toxic, non-allergic, and AZO-free to manufacture our product. We manufacture high-quality products in large volumes by accepting custom designs in custom color combinations.
